[22:52] * Now talking in #Elysium
[22:52] * Topic is 'The sanctuary of a certain angel. | Quiet and beautiful, its white and gold manses stretch across the developed areas,
along with the Shadow's castle, while the Wilds have been carefully preserved. | Now the home of the Supernatural Brady Bunch, but with more
explosions.'
[22:52] * Set by Helel on Thu Mar 06 01:29:09
[22:52] * ChanServ sets mode: +o Allen
[22:59] * Corvus (Raven@adsl-65-70-109-116.dsl.mdldtx.swbell.net) has joined #Elysium
[23:01] <Corvus> *Shadow, as is his typical annoying way, is already waiting for them.*
[23:01] * Helel steps into the main atrium of the big manse that Helel uses as her main base of operations, following Corvus.
[23:02] <Corvus> Ah, nothing much has changed, has it?
[23:03] <Helel> There's been... some work done, but nothing that you should notice at this level, anyways.
[23:03] <Corvus> <Shadow> Corvus isn't good at noticing details anyway.
[23:03] <Helel> *what Corvus does notice is more of those Silvery, armored guardians, lining the perimeter of the atrium*
[23:04] <Corvus> ...Expecting a war?
[23:04] <Helel> So glad you've continued to make use of my home while I've been away, Shadow.
[23:04] <Helel> No, just experiments is all.
[23:04] * Helel waves dismissively.
[23:06] <Corvus> <Shadow> You didn't say I COULDN'T, Helel.
[23:07] * Helel shrugs, 'it doesn't really matter, the Planetary Network has been keeping an eye on you while I was away, so there isn't
anything I don't know about'
[23:07] <Xia> Planetary Network? *Like always, Xia is far from invited, and somehow showed up*
[23:08] <Corvus> <Shadow> I wouldn't DREAM of doing anything but research and experiment.
[23:08] <Helel> Ever wonder why the sky here is gold? Probably not, but regardless, it's not because of the atmosphere's make up.
[23:09] <Corvus> <Shadow> It's so she can keep an eye on anything that goes on here. Simple, effective, etc.
[23:11] * Dai (demented.s@host-7-133.ncrauto.clients.pavlovmedia.com) has joined #Elysium
[23:11] <Dai> (OH SNAP.)
[23:11] <Helel> And destroy whatever I can't. *she used it to blast Beyonce essence into space, by means of tossing a chunk of the planet
into space with it*
[23:12] <Corvus> *Also, Shadow dramatically reveals Dai's been behind him this ENTIRE TIME.*
[23:12] <Helel> ...What are you doing here?
[23:12] <Dai> (So wait, am I supposed to have been here for some time like unnoticed or something? Because didn't Helel get pissy with
spybots like that?)
[23:13] <Dai> ...Wait, wasn't I just somewhere else?
[23:13] <Helel> ... *gives Shadow an annoyed look*
[23:13] <Corvus> (Shadow's Shadow. And a jerk. Plus, he Deus Ex Machina's alot.)
[23:14] <Corvus> <Shadow> What? The poor girl was wounded and my son brought her here. YOU were out, so I took her in. *smug like a cat*
[23:16] <Dai> Wait, this is Helel's place?
[23:17] <Dai> Totally shoulda stole some stuff.
[23:17] * Dai says mostly to herself, thinking aloud, "I wonder where she keeps her gold..."
[23:18] <Corvus> <Shadow> It's supposedly my place too, until I reclaim my city.
[23:19] <Dai> Well, let me know how that goes.
[23:19] * Helel shakes her head. "Whatever."
[23:20] <Corvus> <Shadow> Oh, you're helping me.
[23:20] <Dai> I doubt that.
[23:21] <Corvus> <Shadow> Zero Hunter, Tiamat?
[23:21] * Helel looks over at Corvus. "So, we going to take a look at that curse or not?"
[23:21] <Corvus> Supposedly, yes.
[23:21] <Dai> (I need to break Dai's speaking patterns from Karm a bit. They're supposed to be really similar, but still. Zero Hunter is
worse, because he's not supposed to sound anything like them, but does. I suck at this.)
[23:22] <Dai> This sounds less and less appealing.
[23:22] <Corvus> <Shadow> I'll give you five bucks and sixteen talents worth of gold.
[23:23] <Dai> Look, I'm not sure you know what you just said.
[23:23] <Dai> I'll rephrase.
[23:23] * Helel waves him over and she heads off, into an adjacent hallway to the atrium- not the usual way she goes to the Factory
Cathedral, oddly enough.
'''[23:23] <Dai> "Unstoppable Bane of My People. Even More Unstoppable Legend." I don't know if you've noticed, but I'm incredibly
stoppable.'''
[23:24] * Xia sits off to the side to watch
[23:26] * Corvus follows Helel.
[23:26] <Corvus> <Shadow> You've stopped them before.
[23:27] <Dai> I think you're mistaken.
[23:28] <Corvus> <Shadow> Well, with HELP. Besides, you eat. Energy. With enough juice, you could probably toast them.
[23:29] * Helel leads Corvus along, coming to a stop at what looks like some sort of rail shuttle- that has some elemental or spirit from
Shadow' city sitting at it's controls. Apparently it's been forced to work by Helel or something.
[23:30] <Helel> Third Lab.
[23:30] <Xia> what a slave driver
[23:31] <Corvus> ...Ah, you're putting the fae to good use, I see.
[23:32] * Helel takes a seat, waiting for Corvus as the fae inputs some commands and the shuttle hums briskly before it starts to move,
gathering speed quickly.
[23:33] <Helel> And you're one to talk, Xia. <_<
[23:34] <Xia> I never force anyone to do anything
[23:34] <Xia> I merely suggest
[23:35] * Corvus sits next to Helel, while Shadow and Dai talk in the atrium. Unless they followed. Which would ruin everyone's day.
[23:35] * Xia followed, more than likely uninvited
[23:35] <Dai> (I was thinking of following.)
[23:37] <Corvus> (Then everyone's day has been ruined, because Shadow makes small take with Xia.)
[23:37] <Corvus> (talk, even.)
[23:37] <Dai> I don't think you understand. These guys are on a different level than me. Possibly even you, I wouldn't know. They're out of
my sight.
[23:38] <Dai> (Out of sight!)
[23:38] <Xia> now I'm curious
[23:38] * Helel crosses her arms, putting up with the extras while the shuttle zooms along, presenting a nice view of the various temples,
complexes, parks and so forth that surround Helel's main manse.
[23:38] <Corvus> <Shadow> You can see them, so they're not out of your sight.
[23:40] <Dai> You really think that's going to motivate me to die trying to take back your city?
[23:41] <Corvus> <Shadow> What if I let you stand around and watch me die trying to take back my city, as well as talk to Bahumat for me?
Since, y'know, my son saved you.
[23:42] <Dai> If I had known you'd use that against me, I would have killed myself right then.
[23:42] <Xia> might I provide assistance Teddy?
[23:43] * Helel taps a finger against her arm as she looks outside of the shuttle impatiently.
[23:43] <Corvus> <Shadow> I don't like overbalancing the scales in my favor, Xia. *he smiles at her* But... I'm sure she has other people
besides the hunter working for her. Tiamat's mine though.
[23:44] <Xia> oh, I don't think you can afford my services anyways
[23:44] <Xia> I wasn't suggesting myself
[23:44] <Helel> ...
[23:45] <Corvus> <Shadow> ...Oh, I'll take Helel!
[23:45] <Xia> nor was I suggesting Helel
[23:45] * Corvus snorts, but otherwise stays quiet.
[23:45] <Dai> (Aw.)
[23:45] <Corvus> <Shadow> The winds?
[23:46] * Helel rolls her eyes.
[23:46] <Xia> no, they are...not suited for this kind of work
[23:47] <Corvus> <Shadow> Then who?
[23:47] <Xia> (I have a contract with Musa, I can only suggest Helel to Tyr :P)
[23:47] <Helel> (lol)
[23:47] <Xia> (Tyr has exclusive rights to purchasing/renting Helel)
[23:47] <Helel> (don't tell Zeiss that :P)
[23:47] <Xia> Others
[23:47] <Dai> I'll be honest, I'm a bit curious why the Hunter and Tiamat are working together. I mean...Really curious. Okay, terrified.
[23:47] <Corvus> <Shadow> Mysterious driving force, maybe?
[23:48] <Xia> there are a large number of people...and organization who owe me...favors
[23:48] <Xia> and I like to watch out for your well being Teddy
[23:48] <Helel> (especially after Zeiss had this: http://digitalmillenniumgir.deviantart.com/art/ZeissxHelel-COMMISSION-107902330
commissioned)
[23:48] <Corvus> <Shadow> It'll be a last resort.
[23:48] <Caprice> ((XD))
[23:49] <Helel> Oh please. *she stands up as the shuttle begins to slow, some sort of station coming up)
[23:49] <Helel> **
[23:49] <Xia> (Digichan did that? neat)
[23:49] <Helel> (Yeah)
[23:49] <Xia> *shrugs* think about it
[23:49] <Xia> my price is always quite reasonable
[23:49] <Xia> (and I want some reason to be involved :P)
[23:50] <Corvus> <Shadow> I will, I will. If it turns out she has an army waiting for me, it's a possibility.
[23:50] <Corvus> (Just involve yourself anyway. :P)
[23:50] <Xia> Army, several people, single people
[23:50] <Xia> (thats just not as fun)
[23:50] <Xia> (speaking of involving myself, I need to uninvolve myself and run over to the speedway for a drink)
[23:51] <Dai> The Hunter has an army, you know. I know that. That was the fun part, I look forward to doing that again.
[23:51] <Corvus> <Shadow> ...Ooo. Could I count on you decimating the army then?
[23:51] <Corvus> ...Why did you let them aboard, Helel?
[23:52] <Helel> They followed you, Corvus. -_-
[23:52] <Corvus> No, no. They followed YOU. I'm obviously not too interesting.
[23:53] <Xia> We'll talk about it Teddy
[23:53] <Dai> Me? No way, I can help, but what do you think I am? Whatever people say I am, that's what I'm not.
[23:53] <Helel> Do you want to look at that curse or not? *gives him an aggravated look*
[23:53] <Corvus> Obviously.
[23:54] <Corvus> <Shadow> I think you're Daimiscius. But that makes you nothing, except people don't say it. I do, and Karm does.
[23:54] <Helel> Then they followed you. *she opens the door as it comes to a stop, heading into a squat, though solid looking building
ahead of them*
[23:55] * Corvus walks after her, shrugging his shoulders as he does so. "Whatever you say..."
[23:55] <Dai> Last time I had a posse backing me up through the army. And we still didn't actually beat the Hunter.
[23:56] <Corvus> <Shadow> If I pull this off, you'll have Xia's army as well as Bahumat's.
[23:59] <Helel> Of course I do. *she places a hand on the entrance, activating sort of spell pattern which unlocks the door. And
conveniently opens it too!* We have 10 seconds to enter, so move it. *she hurries in*
[00:00] <Dai> I don't know. I like the idea of taking the Hunter down, but it feels terrible to tell people "You will probably die for a
city you don't care about."
[00:00] * Corvus walks in, and Shadow hurries after him, even going so far to drag Dai with him.
'''[00:01] <Dai> Why do I always have a subtle feeling that I get dragged along into things I have no interest in?'''
'''[00:02] <Corvus> <Shadow> So we can continue talking. '''
'''[00:02] <Dai> That sounds like something I have no interest in.'''
[00:03] <Corvus> <Shadow> You're not making any effort to leave.
[00:03] <Helel> *doors slam shut behind them as the hallway lights up, exposing a rather dull and gray interior. the angel continues on,
another pair of those silvery guardians- though smaller ones this time- stand guard, their visors flowing red as Helel waves and passes them
by- they don't respond in any afterwards*
[00:04] * Corvus continues after Helel, taking the structure in. "Nice place you've got here."
[00:05] <Dai> You'll just find some other way to bug me then.
[00:06] <Corvus> <Shadow> True. I'm glad you're learning.
[00:07] <Helel> It's functional. *they wind through more passageways, until they finally come upon a glass door... Helel just opens it, and
holds it open for the others, letting them walk into what looks like an operating room. Or a kooky mad science laboratory. A few of Tyr's
rats seem to be in some cages in the corner as well.*
[00:08] <Dai> (Adamites?)
[00:08] * Corvus doesn't seem bothered upon entering. He lets out a small sigh and looks for a decent place to sit. Shadow has probably been
sneaking around here anyway, and checks on something.
[00:09] <Helel> (Nah, just Tyr's rats.)
[00:10] <Dai> (Boo.)
[00:10] <Xia> neat place :o
[00:11] * Helel heads over to the side, and pulls over a machine with multiple arms that have various tools on them- drills, vice grips,
buzz saws, syringes, pliers, wonderful things. She uses two to hold Corvus' arm in place, while a third with a small pad is set under his
hand to keep it relaxed.
[00:12] * Corvus doesn't appear to be freaked out at all. "Can I smoke, or is this place too delicate?"
[00:12] <Xia> did you borrow that from me?
[00:13] <Helel> ...No.
[00:13] <Dai> I'm bored. I'm going to mess with some stuff.
[00:13] * Helel leans back and flicks a switch as a fan can be heard. "Feel free to smoke though."
[00:14] <Corvus> *Corvus' pipe manifests in his mouth* "Thank you."
[00:14] <Corvus> <Shadow> Well, I can attempt to show you around.
[00:14] <Dai> You can attempt that, yes.
[00:15] <Corvus> <Shadow> I'm not sure what most of this does though.. *and lo, does Shadow start messing around with Helel's laboratory*
[00:15] * Helel maneuvers another pair of arms, one with a light, and another with what looks like a pen on it over to the curse sigil. She
steps back and pulls out a small glyph projector and connects it to the pen via a cable, and then inputs something- the pen moves around and
then begins tracing the sigil while the light projects a red light upon the curse sigil.
[00:21] * Corvus watches with mild interest. One who could read Corvus might note he's a bit antsy.
[00:24] * Helel fiddles with the devices, keeping a steady eye on the glyph projector as it begins to project a more complete image of the
curse sigil- along with several other inscriptions to the side.
'''[00:31] <Dai> It appears they mostly are for show, then.'''
'''[00:32] <Corvus> <Shadow> That's sad. Oh, well. I've got things that usually explode at my place.'''
'''[00:36] <Dai> By the law of averages, something has to explode sometime.'''
'''[00:37] <Corvus> <Shadow> You've exploded once.'''
[00:37] <Helel> Huh... Got some things to look into *points at the inscriptions being projected* Right, and we're done for now.
[00:37] * Helel kicks the machine to the side, which fortunately releases Corvus from it's grip before she does so.
[00:38] <Corvus> Any idea what it is? *he pulls his gloves back on*
[00:38] <Dai> And you'll probably explode at some point.
[00:38] <Helel> Not right now- I'm going to visit a couple of places that may be familiar with Crimson's kind, and if nothing else, make
something explode.
[00:41] <Corvus> Tsk.
[00:42] <Corvus> ...Thanks Helel. I'm not sure anyone else would do this for me.
[00:42] <Helel> Don't mention it... *pauses* Actually, if anything is going to explode, you'll have to be the one to do it. Otherwise, I
dunno what will happen to you.
[00:43] * Caprice is now known as Capra
[00:44] <Corvus> Couldn't we just purge me like you did with the Beyonce taint?
[00:48] <Helel> not exactly... it looks like the sigil is actually fuelled by my essence, so even if we removed it that way, my essence
would eventually rebuild it as well. Somehow he managed to inscribe the curse into me- and until I can figure out how to remove a soul
form curse, without killing myself, just removing the curse on you will be fruitless.
[00:49] <Dai> You know, I'm curious where all of this comes from. This isn't a side of Helel I'd seen previously. The smart side, that is.
Well, smarter.
[00:49] <Corvus> ...We could always ask the source to remove it.
[00:50] <Dai> That's too easy.
[00:50] <Helel> I already asked.
[00:50] <Corvus> And he laughed?
[00:50] <Helel> He's convinced that until I return to being the 'old' Helel that he's not doing anything.
[00:51] <Dai> The not smart one?
[00:51] <Corvus> <Shadow> More like... The one who wasn't quite so violent.
[00:51] <Xia> who is this again?
[00:52] <Corvus> Crimson. *spits the word like it's vile to say!*
[00:54] <Xia> oh, that one
[00:55] <Xia> I'm at a loss as to why your in so deep with one such as he Helel
[00:55] <Corvus> <Shadow> It's even funnier why CORVUS is in so deep...
[00:55] <Helel> I wasn't being careful, I apologize.
[00:57] <Xia> eh, Darkness McEmopants has his own reasons for being incompetent
[00:58] * Capra is now known as Caprice
[00:59] <Corvus> <Shadow> Blinded by his emotions, for one. Well, since we're done here, I think I'll retire for the day. It's been an
eventful few days... And if I'm to reclaim my city, I'll need some rest.
[00:59] <Xia> think on my offer Teddy
[00:59] <Dai> So uh. Where do I go now?
[01:01] <Corvus> <Shadow> Well, there's always a room open at my castle.
[01:02] <Corvus> I believe your rat friends miss you terribly though, Miss Daimiscius.
[01:02] <Dai> Both offers sound really tempting.
[01:02] * Helel shakes her head as she shuts things down.
[01:08] <Corvus> I'll escort you back there, if you want. Or you can go with my moronic brother.
[01:09] <Dai> I think a third choice is in order here.
[01:09] <Corvus> Leaving by yourself?
[01:10] * Helel tosses some tools into a bin and looks over at Dai and Corvus, "Don't get eaten"
[01:11] <Dai> Don't tell me what to do.
[01:11] <Corvus> Wouldn't dream of it.
[01:11] * Retrieving #Elysium modes...
[01:11] <Dai> Where's Helel's room?
[01:12] <Corvus> You'll have to go back through the subway to get there.
[01:13] <Dai> I imagine it's pretty nice, yes?
[01:14] * Helel steps out from behind some equipment, heading toward the exit. "Come on, let's go."
[01:15] * Corvus probably disappers as everyone else leaves in a normal way. Shadow leaves normally, sadly.
[01:16] <Helel> What about my room, Dai? >_>
[01:16] <Dai> Way I figure, Shadow, you can set me up with Helel's room, or you can count me out on your plan. Either way is fun for me.
[01:17] <Xia> I'm sure Tyr would love the company
[01:17] <Corvus> <Shadow> Alright. Helel, Dai's been set up with your room.
[01:17] <Xia> wouldn't you agree Teddy?
[01:17] <Corvus> <Shadow> Possibly.
[01:17] <Helel> ...Like I said, don't get eaten. <_<
[01:18] <Dai> ...Wait, what?
[01:19] * Corvus jumps into the maw of leviathan or something. To spite you.
[01:19] * Corvus (Raven@adsl-65-70-109-116.dsl.mdldtx.swbell.net) Quit (Q: )
[01:19] <Helel> Tyr's probably in my room. Waiting for me. And if he sees you instead of me, he'll probably eat you.
[01:19] <Helel> Or feed you to his rats.
[01:23] <Xia> or do both
[01:24] <Dai> Well, that's dumb.
[01:25] <Helel> Or you can sleep somewhere else.
[01:25] <Helel> Because I'm not telling you were my bedroom is, either.
[01:26] * Helel eventually gets on the shuttle, leading the others along.
[01:27] <Dai> And we were having such a great conversation, too.
[01:28] <Helel> We were. I got bored though.
[01:28] <Dai> I'll figure something out, then.
[01:29] <Helel> I'm sure.
[01:29] * Dai opens a portal off to somewhere. I should probably upgrade her portals, because she won't be back for a few days with the
current rate. Ah well. She enters, because I'm going to sleep.
[01:30] <Helel> *enjoy*
[01:30] * Dai (demented.s@host-7-133.ncrauto.clients.pavlovmedia.com) Quit (Q: I had a dream that she's the light don't put it out 'cause
she's alright.)
[01:45] * Caprice (midnight.m@97-120-5-194.ptld.qwest.net) Quit (Q: )
[00:51] * Now talking in #Elysium
[00:51] * Topic is 'The sanctuary of a certain angel. | Quiet and beautiful, its white and gold manses stretch across the developed areas,
along with the Shadow's castle, while the Wilds have been carefully preserved. | Now the home of the Supernatural Brady Bunch, but with more
explosions.'
[00:51] * Set by Helel on Thu Mar 06 01:29:09
[00:51] <Caprice> *Right*
[00:51] * Corvus doesn't trick people. Yet.
[00:51] <Caprice> “I...wait--what’s that on here?"
[00:52] <Corvus> *Shadow tosses the unmoving Helel to Corvus and pats the dog on the head as it probably tries to kill him or something.
Then it probably rots away into a burnt skeleton. Nice guy.* "We're dissecting Helel, of course!"
[00:52] * Caprice goes pale.
[00:52] <Caprice> "DISSECTING?"
[00:53] * Mischa|Couch (bouncymisc@206.75.182.142) has joined #Elysium
[00:53] <Corvus> <Shadow> She'll live, of course. I'm not about to make Xia or my brother angry with me~
[00:53] * Nothing sits on Corvus
[00:53] <Caprice> “But--is it safe to dissect her...while she’s still alive...?E
[00:54] * Beyonce (h@190.43.115.131) has joined #Elysium
[00:54] <Corvus> <Shadow> Of course it is! I'm me~
[00:54] * .Helel roars at the sky or something as she's tossed to Corvus. She wants to eat him again!
[00:54] * Caprice does not seem convinced
[00:55] <Beyonce> <Cerberus> Woof! *runs alongside Shadow, it wants to be pet d'awwww*
[00:55] * Xia leans against Shadow's back...how the hell does she keep getting in here "who would you rather get angry, me or your brother
Teddy?"
[00:55] <Corvus> Can we get a move on? *Shadow siiiighs and claps. The entryway begins to move downwards! The doors and the stairs disappear
as the elevator moves. Also, I guess he pets the dog rather than killing it. If it's going to behave like THAT.*
[00:55] * Nikki (bouncymisc@206.75.182.142) has joined #Elysium
[00:57] <.Helel> *may want to do something about the feral angel that's attempting to rip Corvus to shreds after beating into a pulp
earlier. but it seems she's already healed from the beating, and wants to return the love ~<3*
[00:58] * Caprice backs slightly away from Helel...
[00:59] <Beyonce> <Cerberus> Grrrr. *growls at Helel*
[01:00] * Corvus loves these elevator fights. I'll guess Twilight moves away from Helel, and lets the angel tear and rip at the very
surprised Corvus. He screams as he's probably torn into a mess. Good times.
[01:00] * Caprice acks--and summons the DarkRune Iinto her hands!
[01:01] * .Helel is busy tearing Corvus to pieces, don't bother her.
[01:01] <Corvus> <Shadow> My my~ *the black blob forms into a blowgun, from which Shadow fires about a dozen darts into the rampaging Helel!
They're coated with a fairly powerful sedative. Like, it could probably knock out an angel. Each of them.
[01:01] <Corvus> **
[01:02] * Corvus isn't putting up a good fight. He's too busy laughing and missing an arm or two.
[01:02] * .Helel is bothered! But those darts seem to slow her down for a moment... and then she slouches forward, moaning.
[01:02] <Beyonce> <Cerberus> Grrrr. *growls more*
[01:03] * Corvus kicks her in the face, for good measure. He'd punch her, but that's pretty hard.
[01:03] <Caprice> “Helel--stoppit! THis is for your own good1
[01:03] <Corvus> <Shadow> Down boy. She's not dangerous~
[01:04] * Caprice grips the sword tightly...
[01:04] <Beyonce> <Cerberus> Woof!
[01:04] * .Helel is kicked, sending her sprawling across the floor... she attempts to pick herself up, but then collapses.
[01:04] * Corvus waits for the 'need a hand' comment. Also, Shadow answered Xia with a "Who do you think I would rather have angry at me?"
[01:05] <Nothing> -A hand falls onto Corvus-
[01:05] * Xia grins
[01:05] <Xia> call me if you need me
[01:07] <Corvus> *The elevator stops, and the area around them unfolds like a lotus! Around them is a large area, filled with workers (they
don't look all too material or even humanoid, except a few), odd devices, multiple doors, tubes filled with all sorts of liquids, gasses,
and... Are those floating bodies in some?*
[01:07] <Corvus> <Shadow> Will do! *he salutes Xia, grinning back*

71.75.57.141: /* Character Arc and Themes */

==Description==

===Physical===
*I feel like Andreas would be smaller than Dai (as Zirconia elves in general would be), as well as probably darker-skinned.
**If it's notably darker, I think people could reach for unfortunate implications about the elves have pale-skinned saviors (though both of the people they pick for saviors are not very good people to hitch your wagon to), but ultimately with a fantasty setting and the general spread of characters any accusations of racism (and it's the internet, so there will be some) will be easily deflected.
*Buildwise, I'm not sure. Probably a bit more toned due to having to survive, not sure if curves play a part in this anywhere.

===Mental===
*Andreas wants the elves to be safe. And feel the only way this is possible is if the dragons are gone. She's very used to hiding so she prefers others to take action, but desperate times.

===Musical===
*Probably traditional/tribal/world music. Possibly shares a general theme with the elves/their villages, with it slightly changed to be more aggressive (possibly not until the third arc).

==Character Arc and Themes==
*In Episode 1, Andreas starts out as sort of a guide for Dai and Koray (and the player) into the world of Zirconia. She and her twin brother Xack kinda explain the whole deal and represent the two states of mind the elves take as the plot progresses: Andreas sees Dai's power and is confident the elves can free themselves through violent action, while Xack is more of a peaceful action kinda guy.
*In Episode 2, most of the prideful elder dragons die trying to attack Corvus at the end of Episode 1, leaving the dragons facing a bit of a cultural identity crisis as well as nowhere near as numerous as the elves. Andreas and many other young elves see this as a chance to wipe out the dragons, especially with the elder and Xack also being casualties during Corvus' attack. Dai refuses to lead a violent attack, and so the elves latch onto Devix's radicalism at this point. Andreas joins up with Devix's group and is involved with several attacks on curious young dragons (as well as old dragons who were trying to attack elves). When Devix falls, Andreas realizes that she ultimately needs to be the force capable of furthering her goals.
*In Episode 3, Andreas seeks out Corvus to gain an edge against dragons, but Corvus seems to have been driven mad due to his defeat at UU's hands. UU explains, and Andreas realizes she's stronger and demands power from her. UU has the Air Zero spirit which she hasn't been able to successfully bond with any of her choices yet as the element is intangible and has just literallly vaporized the last two bodies she tried to bind it to, but Andreas survives by focusing on her single-minded goals and is able to keep most of her body. With this power, she becomes the new leader of the elf aggressors, and eventually kills the now impotent 'prideful' aspect of Bahamut that was leading the dragons. I haven't really figured out her ultimate fate, but I imagine even if she lives she probably ends up bitter and imprisoned so I don't think she really gets a happy ending.
*In general, her themes are obvious. She is single-minded dedication. She does not back from her ideal, she believes she cannot. She is willing to go to any extreme to pursue them, because she believes that the death of her ideal means the end of the entire elven race. She ignores people who argue otherwise as naive and misguided, and those who believe so much that they would stand against her as betrayers and saboteurs. She is a radical who has put herself into a position where she would rather die than compromise, quite literally.
*Hm....80/20, maybe? I don't know, as noted everywhere else on this page, not really of import until the third arc.

===General Feel===
*When she finally becomes playable she'll be the Air Zero for Zirconia, so I imagine she's very... self-sustainy. As you spatballed before, probably some stuff about allowing herself some extra moves in there. Fairly easy for her to rearrange her board, and maybe fairly easy to even mess with the opponents'. But ultimately she can't hit very hard in general.

===Block===
===Spells===
Trying to come up with one purely physical, one purely mental, and one mix for every character, just to make sure each has one.
*A deep hate for killing her brother (and in such a manner he probably doesn't even remember), but a deeper respect for his power. Eventually, in her desperation for power, she seeks him out. And the rest, as they say, is the third arc.

===[[Dai]]===
*Andreas originally sees Dai's appearance out of nowhere and effortless beatdown of a dragon as a sign of her being the one to lead the Zirconian elves to freedom. Dai claims she wants that, but Andreas sees freedom only as freedom from dragons entirely, compromise is tantamount to hiding again, and never again.

===[[Devix]]===
*After Dai flops in Andreas' eyes, Devix becomes her next savior. Devix fits Andreas' model more, as he too wants to wipe out the dragons completely. Andreas does her best to sure his support and supplies, and when he is probably killed by Dai she realizes she finally has to take this whole thing into her own hands.

==Issues to Be Resolved==
*Mm, mostly just thinkin' of addin' a little plot section for arcs and/or themes somewhere in here, to make sure we can track of those. Might just kinda go under Mental? I don't know. We'll talk about it sometime. Maybe.
*There's kinda a distinct naming pattern for Sote elves. I know there wouldn't be the SAME one for Zirconia, but I'm not sure if we want to have one or not.

==Description==

===Physical===

===Mental===
*Andreas wants the elves to be safe. And feel the only way this is possible is if the dragons are gone. She's very used to hiding so she prefers others to take action, but desperate times.

===Musical===
*Probably traditional/tribal/world music. Possibly shares a general theme with the elves/their villages, with it slightly changed to be more aggressive (possibly not until the third arc).

==Character Arc and Themes==

NOTE: These are all Karm spitballs, nothing is final, I just want these somewhere in case I disappear into a Corvus hole.

So, pretty much my approach to this is don't show something if it's not going to be used. Chekovsburg. I think I'm probably going too far in the other direction, but we'll find a middle ground we're happy with when/if you get back.

So, Gomala is a tiny shantytown with only dozens of inhabitants, most if not all who contribute to its survival in a helpful if not essential way. It's not a city that's fallen, but a small haven that's risen from teamwork.

Zei, being a CATGIRL ROBOT, is able to suck up some excess mana from the various geysers spilling out of the world and help provide power to the location. Yeti yeti yeti is able to condense the omnipresent clouds into water for the town's basin, and gnome is able to shape various things like buildings and structures.

Hina is able is keep the workforce consistent by raising the dead as laborers and guards (thinking including a sibling figure of some kind for Hina as a small backstory hook for her, that's even more spitbally than the rest of this though), and Savesh is a big picture guy who was probably able to do all of this for himself for a while before he stretched his wingspan to bring others under his wing.

This offers an explanation why Koray is eager to do grunt work, and emphasizes the fact he isn't really a keystone piece. It also might make Savesh trying to power up Koray not just a for kicks thing, but a 'jeez I don't know how sustainable this is without giving the kid a boost.'

Just some thoughts.

71.75.57.141:

==Overview==
Planet X is the Australia of planets. There’s only a few habitable cities, Amalgo (where Koray and Hina and the Triad and Koray’s dad (Savash?) are all from) being chief among them.

It’s the flotsam and jetsam of the planes, drifters and outcasts just congregate here, cast off from all but one another. Not that they really like each other, just that they don’t have any choice. Remember the Adventure Time episode with the city of thieves? I feel like it’s almost exactly like that, except probably a little more violent.

Technology levels of planet X run wildly from person to person and place to place. While maybe Zei is the most technologically advanced thing in Amalgo there’s maybe some crazy cat-people inventors living alongside crazy elven mages.

Size-wise, I’d wager that Amalgo is as sprawling as New York proper, but maybe not quite as densely populated, (just under a million, if that) so there will be times of no one in sight or sound distance leaving you in a lonely city!

The reason there is so few living people here is also that of the planes/planets this is Australia. The flora and the fauna are all hazardous to living things on a scale that Sote would be like ‘oh sheeeeit’. So hazardous that most people who end up here die horribly. Void influence is everywhere, the ‘wastes’ are filled with slavering monsters and dark cultures. The cities started as ruins that the inhabitants started to build up walls and band together to not be eaten by a corrupted zebra that only has the black stripes, the rest of it merely invisible.

Dark Fae live in the wastes and tame the monsters as beasts of burden. No one really ventures that far out, so those who have seen it are considered crazy. Shadow may build his ‘dark city’ out in the wastes out of a city like Amalgo that has since fallen to the area around it or its inhabitants all lost their minds and killed each other. Possibly even the city of Corvus’ first ‘test run’ with his existence, finding everything else remarkably fragile. He may have gotten a good fight out of one of the living people and that’s where Shadow finds him, finding a lot in common with this planet/plane because it’s castoffs and exiles and even from itself (meaning Big C and UO) Shadow is an outcast??

(Literally copy pasted just to have, will clean up later)

==Races==
Literally anything that has been listed on another page could be found here in varying numbers. Humans I assume may be one of the dominant races, alongside Cubus.

==Things to be Resolved?==
None that I can think of off the top of my head.

==Trivia==
Planet X may have started as a joke or a placeholder, but now it's a planet of the X-iles.
*Karm here. Corvus, this is awful. You're fired.

==Out of Combat==
*So I'm thinking that '''ruins have puzzles''' involving the point and click movement type of boards outside of combat. (I think Clash of Heroes did this a bit?) Pretty much the generic puzzles in RPGs, but explicitly for the walk-around system we have.
*'''Towns''', in contrast, '''are largely freely navigable'''. Rumors, lore, and/or other optional content may require puzzles of some kind to access, but the main progress inside towns should be uninhibited in direction or timing. Exceptions are of course say during attacks or something.

==General Combat==
===Moves===
*The current idea is very similar to Clash, each player gets '''four moves by default''', and is able to '''swap two adjacent blocks''' a la Puzzle Quest or '''delete a block''' to cause a cascade a la Clash. Like in Clash of Heroes, '''the move is refunded if deleting a block causes a match''', because I think this adds a lot more strategy to using the delete rather than a 'last resort' when one can't swap two pieces.
**One thing I'm thinking, because this has a full board AND a preview of upcoming blocks, is unlike Clash of Heroes (and more like Puzzle Quest), '''after the board is originally generated matched sets CAN end up coming to fill empty spaces''', though it's not explicitly likely. Both because insuring they don't match will require a lot of effort for something that may add no strategic value and because with the next row visible I feel like thought should be put into trying to predict the next row and efforts should be rewarded rather than fucked over.

===Matches===
*So as established in late night calls, when matching a surplus of a color, '''only tetrominoes''' are a possibility, '''sets of five or more are not'''. I'm thinking '''if five blocks end up next to each other due to a spell''' (either an enemy spell or a side benefit from one's own), when they are next able '''the player draws the desired tetromino''' in the group, so as to prevent the system to screw someone over by defaulting to a tetromino they don't want. Should be relevantly easily to code and communicate.

===Spells===
*'''Every character has at least three, I'd say at most five spells usable in combat'''. '''Every character probably has least five''', probably no more than ten spells learnable'''. Leaning towards eight, to provide '''a sufficient mix of physical, mental, and combination attack and defense for each''' (or a focus on solely one if that's what the player wants).
*'''Timing:''' Like Clash of Heroes' supers, '''spells can be used any time before the last move is consumed''' (possibly with the option to pause and use it right after the last move, because I know I've derped on my super before). Additionally, a few select spells (exceptions, not the rules) may be used as at another/any point, more likely in my head with '''the possibility of counterspelling.'''
*'''Cost:''' As detailed below in blocks, I imagine '''physical spells affect physical blocks, mental spells affect mental blocks''', and a '''combination''' is needed '''to affect special or neutral blocks'''. '''Attack''' is used to '''mess with an opponent's board/blocks, defense is one's own'''. '''Certain characters may have additional gates for their spells''', like being required to sacrifice special blocks, counters on doing/receiving damage, simply cooldowns that are over the course of a number of turns, et cetera. The sky's the limit, as long as it adds meaningful gameplay.

===Visual and Sound Cues===
*As mentioned, I was thinking a '''quick still image would flash on the screen''' of the character performing a spell, '''accompanied by a quick sound file'''. Just to make spells feel fancy for people who want it (and an option they can turn off if they don't, bastards).
Probably a quick slash for matching damage and a little ding for matching anything but neutral, which may have a little 'whomp.'
Deleting a block would have an even deeper 'whomp' sound, blocks falling into the board would probably have a little 'thud,' probably higher pitched though.
**Swapping two adjacent blocks would probably have just a little ding, and matching a set would have a ding chord or something, a 'fuller' sound.
**Special blocks, when used for their purpose, would probably have a little jingle they do, like a little eight note jingle that's like a second. Each type would probably have the same jingle, just to have audial feedback be consistent for this.
**More on the visuals of blocks in the block section below, as you already know.

===Artifacts===
If these exist, I imagine they exist largely as a secondary positive passive, used either to complement the positive passive and go min/max or to try to cover up the negative side of one's passive. '''Gain 25% from matching this type, heal X amount of health when matching these types''', uh shit I actually had some ideas that were not QUITE as boring for secondary passives but two in the morning forgetting cough. Oh well. '''Spawning certain types of blocks slightly more frequently?''' Still not as good as a few I had. WHOOPS SHOULD HAVE DONE THIS SOONER Oh wait perhaps something like ''''both characters take additional/less damage,'''' the former benefiting an offensive character like Koray while the latter a defensive one like Karm.

==Blocks==
Seven 'types' of blocks.
*'''Damage.''' What it says on the tin, does direct damage to enemy health when matched.
**Shaped as skulls? Bit generic, biting from Puzzle Quest too much. Leaning towards metallic-colored swords, one pointing up one point down.
*'''Neutral.''' Kinda not sold on these existing SOLELY as a waste of board space. At first I was like 'Well Card City Nights make neutrals work' but neutrals work because they become what type they're matched with, they're more wildcards. It's possible we could do similar, but that might be too flexible. The one thing that works with them currently is I imagine there's 'chain' types of bonuses and/or spells that benefit from having multiple active ones, so they could be used for that. Still, I dunno.
**Gray, much less shiny than other blocks, only slightly detailed beyond being a single color.
*'''Physical Attack.''' Probably not a great name. Use for spells that largely focus on manipulating physical blocks (attack OR defense) on an opponent's boards, in addition to other effects embodied by assaulting.
**Colors for these four types of blocks? No strong feelings on them myself so any suggestions are welcome, just in general want to avoid red and green from being normal blocks, due to red-green colorblindness being the most common. (for full colorblindness, we'd need to add identifies to each type, but that's not as important (current ideas for true colorblind: fist for physical, brain for mental, sword in the lower left or right for attack, shield for defense))
*'''Physical Defense.''' Use for spells for manipulating physical blocks on one's own board (attack or defense) in addition to other effects emboding by physical resilience.
*'''Mental Attack.''' Same as physical but for mental. Was originally thinking this might extend to neutral and special blocks too, but that would unbalance physical and mental, leading to the much clearer solution: Spells that manipulate neutral or special blocks require both physical and mental blocks. Derp.
*'''Mental Defense.''' Ditto.
*'''Special.''' Half as common as other blocks (1 in 13 as opposed to 2 in 13), these blocks are specific to each character and have their own effect.
**In my head, all these blocks have different looks detailed on the respective character pages, but the one thing is common with all of them is they're circular blocks inside the square block shapes to make them distinctively visible from others regardless. In addition, they'll be the most detailed blocks, with designs inside of them instead of just a shiny color.

71.75.57.141: /* Blocks */

==Out of Combat==

==General Combat==
===Moves===

===Matches===

===Spells===
*'''Every character has at least three, I'd say at most five spells usable in combat'''. '''Every character probably has least five''', probably no more than ten spells learnable'''.
Elves, being a very early race, inhabited many planets in the glory days of the universe. However, planets took very different courses, especially after 'the Searing,' so it's very possible elf society had divergent paths both in roles and looks.
'''Note:''' This may have to be edited yet, but you know.

===Appearance===
*On Sote, elves look very human. They have long ears, whiskers, and translucent, vestigial wings, but otherwise they tend to be tall humans. They tend to be lean and androgynous rather than curvy or muscular, but OO Restorers typically honed their bodies to be noticeably muscular to establish male physical dominance. For the large part of their history, it was considered 'right' that women hold their wings down below their shoulders while men held them above, but that tradition has started to blur a bit and has become more tied to confidence.
*Their garb is generally traditional, flowing robes.

===Culture===
*For the large part of their history, Sote Elves knew they were one of the first races created by the Makers, and felt irritated with the increasing number taking away from their spotlight. Eventually, humans devised a plot that caused the Makers to voluntarily retreat from interfering with the races, and began make a civilization uniting the races. Elves felt threatened by this change, and created a militant culture that insisted on elven superiority over all others, with the intention of wiping them all out. Unsurprisingly this fell through, and elves aren't terribly common on Sote afterwards. Those who do generally have a sort of 'elf guilt' with their existence, having to live with the sins of their past.
*''I think we were making them camouflage because they don't have the elven pride (at the beginning, at least).''
