Planet X
Overview[edit]
Planet X is the Australia of planets. There’s only a few habitable cities, Amalgo (where Koray and Hina and the Triad and Koray’s dad (Savash?) are all from) being chief among them.
It’s the flotsam and jetsam of the planes, drifters and outcasts just congregate here, cast off from all but one another. Not that they really like each other, just that they don’t have any choice. Remember the Adventure Time episode with the city of thieves? I feel like it’s almost exactly like that, except probably a little more violent.
Technology levels of planet X run wildly from person to person and place to place. While maybe Zei is the most technologically advanced thing in Amalgo there’s maybe some crazy cat-people inventors living alongside crazy elven mages.
Size-wise, I’d wager that Amalgo is as sprawling as New York proper, but maybe not quite as densely populated, (just under a million, if that) so there will be times of no one in sight or sound distance leaving you in a lonely city!
The reason there is so few living people here is also that of the planes/planets this is Australia. The flora and the fauna are all hazardous to living things on a scale that Sote would be like ‘oh sheeeeit’. So hazardous that most people who end up here die horribly. Void influence is everywhere, the ‘wastes’ are filled with slavering monsters and dark cultures. The cities started as ruins that the inhabitants started to build up walls and band together to not be eaten by a corrupted zebra that only has the black stripes, the rest of it merely invisible.
Dark Fae live in the wastes and tame the monsters as beasts of burden. No one really ventures that far out, so those who have seen it are considered crazy. Shadow may build his ‘dark city’ out in the wastes out of a city like Amalgo that has since fallen to the area around it or its inhabitants all lost their minds and killed each other. Possibly even the city of Corvus’ first ‘test run’ with his existence, finding everything else remarkably fragile. He may have gotten a good fight out of one of the living people and that’s where Shadow finds him, finding a lot in common with this planet/plane because it’s castoffs and exiles and even from itself (meaning Big C and UO) Shadow is an outcast??

Karm Spitball[edit]
So there were a few ideas I had mostly involving the environment of Planet X. Though they're presented here as all interconnected, I think we can mix and match any combination of them.
When the planet started dying, a great psychic called Jeanette pretty much became the core of the planet to keep it together. It's still slowly dying, at like Dark Souls speed, but without her it'd be supervolcano speed. This process MIGHT have also tied up the zero energy (or maybe not, as above). Because of the great mana wastelands, water is very rarely found in abundance, the ocean beds being dry and largely mana wastelands now anyway. Instead, their water is kept as a layer of clouds around the planet, and places like Amalgo (I wouldn't mind renaming this, it's a bit too on the nose) have a process for condescending it down for use. Due to the amount of water in the air and the layer blocking the sun, the planet is largely swamp-y, with just variations on HOW swamp-y it is based on previous biomes (quicksand deserts, et cetera). This lack of water and safe environments might also mean that if there are dryads here there are VERY few left due to how unsustainable this is for plantlife. So Hina and Koray might not have not only never seen dragons before, but may not have ever even seen a star in the sky - even in the daytime (or seen daytime, for that matter). And if Corvus forces this Jeanette energy into a host body he can keep under his thumb, the planet will be in even worse shape. But possibly still salvageable. Until Corvus blows it up. There we are.
Races[edit]
Literally anything that has been listed on another page could be found here in varying numbers. Humans I assume may be one of the dominant races, alongside Cubus.
Things to be Resolved?[edit]
None that I can think of off the top of my head.
Trivia[edit]
Planet X may have started as a joke or a placeholder, but now it's a planet of the X-iles.
- Karm here. Corvus, this is awful. You're fired.
