[23:29] * Helel leads Corvus along, coming to a stop at what looks like some sort of rail shuttle- that has some elemental or spirit from 
Shadow' city sitting at it's controls.  Apparently it's been forced to work by Helel or something.

[23:32] * Helel takes a seat, waiting for Corvus as the fae inputs some commands and the shuttle hums briskly before it starts to move, 
gathering speed quickly.

ahead of them*

[23:55] <Dai> Last time I had a posse backing me up through the army. And we still didn't actually beat the Hunter.

[23:59] <Helel> Of course I do.  *she places a hand on the entrance, activating sort of spell pattern  which unlocks the door. And 
conveniently opens it too!* We have 10 seconds to enter, so move it. *she hurries in*
[00:00] <Dai> I don't know. I like the idea of taking the Hunter down, but it feels terrible to tell people "You will probably die for a 
city you don't care about."
[00:00] * Corvus walks in, and Shadow hurries after him, even going so far to drag Dai with him.
[00:01] <Dai> Why do I always have a subtle feeling that I get dragged along into things I have no interest in?
[00:02] <Corvus> <Shadow> So we can continue talking. 
[00:02] <Dai> That sounds like something I have no interest in.
[00:03] <Corvus> <Shadow> You're not making any effort to leave.
[00:03] <Helel> *doors slam shut behind them as the hallway lights up, exposing a rather dull and gray interior.  the angel continues on, 
another pair of those silvery guardians- though smaller ones this time- stand guard, their visors flowing red as Helel waves and passes them 
by- they don't respond in any afterwards*
[00:04] * Corvus continues after Helel, taking the structure in. "Nice place you've got here."
[00:05] <Dai> You'll just find some other way to bug me then.
[00:06] <Corvus> <Shadow> True. I'm glad you're learning.
[00:07] <Helel> It's functional.  *they wind through more passageways, until they finally come upon a glass door... Helel just opens it, and 
holds it open for the others, letting them walk into what looks like an operating room.  Or a kooky mad science laboratory.  A few of Tyr's 
rats seem to be in some cages in the corner as well.*

[00:08] * Corvus doesn't seem bothered upon entering. He lets out a small sigh and looks for a decent place to sit. Shadow has probably been 
sneaking around here anyway, and checks on something.
[00:09] <Helel> (Nah, just Tyr's rats.)

[00:10] <Xia> neat place :o
[00:11] * Helel heads over to the side, and pulls over a machine with multiple arms that have various tools on them- drills, vice grips, 
buzz saws, syringes, pliers, wonderful things.  She uses two to hold Corvus' arm in place, while a third with a small pad is set under his 
hand to keep it relaxed.
[00:12] * Corvus doesn't appear to be freaked out at all. "Can I smoke, or is this place too delicate?"
[00:12] <Xia> did you borrow that from me?
[00:13] <Helel> ...No.
[00:13] <Dai> I'm bored. I'm going to mess with some stuff.
[00:13] * Helel leans back and flicks a switch as a fan can be heard. "Feel free to smoke though."
[00:14] <Corvus> *Corvus' pipe manifests in his mouth* "Thank you."
[00:14] <Corvus> <Shadow> Well, I can attempt to show you around. 
[00:14] <Dai> You can attempt that, yes.
[00:15] <Corvus> <Shadow> I'm not sure what most of this does though.. *and lo, does Shadow start messing around with Helel's laboratory* 
[00:15] * Helel maneuvers another pair of arms, one with a light, and another with what looks like a pen on it over to the curse sigil.  She 
steps back and pulls out a small glyph projector and connects it to the pen via a cable, and then inputs something- the pen moves around and 
then begins tracing the sigil while the light projects a red light upon the curse sigil.
[00:21] * Corvus watches with mild interest. One who could read Corvus might note he's a bit antsy.
[00:24] * Helel fiddles with the devices, keeping a steady eye on the glyph projector as it begins to project a more complete image of the 
curse sigil- along with several other inscriptions to the side.
[00:31] <Dai> It appears they mostly are for show, then.
[00:32] <Corvus> <Shadow> That's sad. Oh, well. I've got things that usually explode at my place.
[00:36] <Dai> By the law of averages, something has to explode sometime.
[00:37] <Corvus> <Shadow> You've exploded once.
[00:37] <Helel> Huh... Got some things to look into *points at the inscriptions being projected* Right, and we're done for now.
[00:37] * Helel kicks the machine to the side, which fortunately releases Corvus from it's grip before she does so.
[00:38] <Corvus> Any idea what it is? *he pulls his gloves back on*
[00:38] <Dai> And you'll probably explode at some point.
[00:38] <Helel> Not right now- I'm going to visit a couple of places that may be familiar with Crimson's kind, and if nothing else, make 
something explode.

[00:42] <Helel> Don't mention it... *pauses* Actually, if anything is going to explode, you'll have to be the one to do it.  Otherwise, I 
dunno what will happen to you.

[00:48] <Helel> not exactly... it looks like the sigil is actually fuelled by my essence, so even if we removed it that way, my essence 
would eventually rebuild it as well.  Somehow he managed to inscribe the curse into me-  and until I can figure out how to remove a soul 
form curse, without killing myself, just removing the curse on you will be fruitless.
[00:49] <Dai> You know, I'm curious where all of this comes from. This isn't a side of Helel I'd seen previously. The smart side, that is.
