Priorities (Nailing Down Arc 1)

Think I'm gonna go ahead and establish some priorities, just to have some direction with our current work.

  • Outline Arc 1 in its entirety, come up with some strong character interactions, et cetera. Really make it sparkle.
  • Develop passives, blocks, and abilities for every character that fights or is fought in Arc 1. All four Main Characters, AT LEAST Corvus but probably all the Voidspawn, probably just ZH of the Agents, and Snakefox Jean and the Triad. That comes out to 7-11, open twenty four hours. Possibly Devix, which would round it out to 8-12, more appealing numbers because they're even. We'll see, though, once we outline it.
    • Characters that will appear in Arc 1 that probably will NOT be playable in the first arc: The other three agents, the Miscellaneous characters outside of Cim, and Tad. That said, I imagine Laidena and/or Tad will be controllable in the out of combat way briefly when they come looking for the Voidspawn (and so this may be possible for other similar characters), but I think including either of them as combatants would hurt the general feel of the first arc, personally.
  • Also, we may want to go ahead and refer to arcs as episodes internally, because that's more or less what they are? And I feel that'd allow us to be more candid with player expectations, so when they see 'Episode 1' attached they go 'Okay, so this is to be continued, this non-ending is not as infuriating now.'
